Ever notice how some neighborhoods have more litter  than others?  Litter and blight reduce the value of homes and lead to more crime. Take action to keep our neighborhood valuable and looking great! 
Neighborhood Cleanup! Come out Saturday, October 1st at 7:30 am to help clean up the neighborhood.  Support the fight to keep our community valuable and looking great!   
Help pickup trash and trim hedges  and trees. We will meet at the intersection of Long Creek and Shelby Dr. In case of rain the event will be postponed to October 8th.
 




ACT  Prep Workshops at East Shelby Library
In  November, the Memphis Public Library  and the Neighborhood Association  will be holding ACT workshops at the E Shelby library. These  workshops are for students in Grades 7 to 11.  The workshops last from 1 to 3 hours and refreshments will be provided. click here for more information.

Officer  Kassandra Smith,  a 14 year veteran with the Memphis police department and vice  president of the Memphis and Shelby County Domestic Abuse board, was recently featured in the Tri-State Defender , which is a weekly newspaper and daily online news resource published in Memphis.

Officer Smith is a resident of Richwood Hills who serves her community with heart and pride.
